First — Be intentional with what you eat.

Start paying attention.

When you become aware of what doesn’t feel good in your body, you naturally begin to choose better.

You pause, question, and eventually stop reaching for things that don’t serve you.

Second — Eat when you’re actually hungry, not just because it’s “mealtime.”

This was a game changer for me. Once I stopped eating by the clock and started eating by how I felt, I became more energized, focused, and light in my body.

Third — Snack smart.

If you’re someone who loves to snack, go for fruits, nuts, healthy snacks. And honestly? Just don’t keep junk food in the house. If it’s not there, you’re not reaching for it.

Fourth — Move your body.

Once you start working out and moving daily, you begin to feel better and look better — and when that happens, you naturally become more mindful of how you’re fueling your body. You won’t want to go back to how you used to look or feel.

Fifth — Learn the benefits and understand the “why.”

I’ve realized that understanding the benefits of what I’m doing really helps me stay committed — it reminds me why I started in the first place.

For example, I used to hate avocado when I was younger. But once I learned how good it is for your health, I started shifting my mindset. I kept reminding myself, “This is good for you,” and slowly reprogrammed my mind to like it.

Now? I’ve gone from totally hating avocado to absolutely loving it — it’s one of my favorite foods, and I eat it every single day!

And finally — Fasting.

This one shifted everything.

Giving my body a break helped me reconnect, reset, and stop craving processed stuff altogether.

I’ve gotten into the habit of fasting once a week. Whether it’s juicing, drinking herbal teas, coconut water, or even doing a complete dry fast — I just go with whatever feels right.

Intermittent fasting is also a great way to give your body a break by breaking your fast with something light — like fruits, juice.

It gives you a chance to be more intentional with what you put into your body and to connect on a deeper level with your mind, body, and spirit.

If you stick with it long enough, you’ll naturally start letting go of what doesn’t feel good and begin choosing what truly supports your well-being.

Over time, your body stops craving fast food, junk food, or overly sweet things — it just won’t want them anymore, and might even start rejecting them.

The more you do it, the easier it gets to really listen to your body.

But no pressure — it’s all about tuning in and giving your body a little love. Don’t stress yourself out; enjoy the process instead of treating it like an obligation. Just let it become a natural part of your lifestyle.
