It’s May already....



Before chasing bigger goals, look at what you’ve already built.


Look at the growth.

The discipline.

The healing.

The courage it took to become who you are today.


Give yourself credit.

Not for being finished…But for not giving up.


Then reset, realign, and keep moving, with clarity.


Step 1: Write down your Monthly Highlights


Take time to write down the highlights of your 2026 so far…

Month by month, pause and reflect on what this year has brought you.

The wins.

The challenges.

The lessons.

The moments that changed you, both the beautiful ones and the hard ones.


Look back at each month and ask yourself:

  • What stood out?

  • What kept showing up?

  • What patterns do I notice?

  • What did I overcome without even realizing it?

  • Where did I feel the most alive, aligned, and fulfilled?


Sometimes we’re so focused on what’s next that we forget to acknowledge how much we’ve already lived, learned, healed, and built.


This practice helps you see your growth with clarity, recognize what needs to change, and notice what’s no longer aligned… so you can adjust, realign, and move with intention now, instead of waiting until the end of the year to finally look back on your progress.


*Bonus: Keep a monthly highlight journal.

At the end of the year, you won’t just review your progress, you’ll notice your patterns.


Step 2: Intentions vs. Actions


Now go back to the goals, visions, and promises you made to yourself at the beginning of the year… and get honest.


Not about what you wanted to do.Not about what sounded good in January.But about what actually happened.


Look at your intentions… and compare them to your actions.


Ask yourself:

  • What did I actually do?

  • What actions did I consistently take?

  • Where did I show up for myself?

  • What did I keep postponing?

  • What conversations did I avoid?

  • What habits did I say I’d build but never committed to?

  • Where did fear, comfort, distractions, or excuses take over?


This isn’t about judging yourself. It’s about gathering data.


Because results don’t come from intentions alone… they come from aligned action, consistency, and honest self-awareness.

  • Celebrate what worked.

  • Acknowledge where you followed through.

  • Own where you didn’t.


Then keep what’s working…Adjust what isn’t…And stop carrying goals that only live on paper.


Your future doesn’t respond to intentions. It responds to ACTION.


Step 3: Realign & Refocus


Now that you’ve looked at your progress… and faced the truth… it’s time to realign.


Ask yourself:

  • What still truly matters to me?

  • What goals still feel aligned with the person I’m becoming?

  • What feels exciting, expansive, and authentic?

  • What feels forced, outdated, or no longer mine?

  • Where am I saying yes when my soul is saying no?

  • Where is my energy being drained, scattered, or wasted?

  • What distractions, habits, commitments, or people are pulling me away from my vision?


Not every goal needs to come with you.Not every version of you is meant to come into your next chapter.


Some goals were only meant to wake you up…To show you what’s possible…To help you discover who you really are…Not to stay with you forever.


So release what no longer fits.

Let go of what feels heavy, forced, or disconnected.And choose your top priorities for this next season.


Realign. Refocus. And put your energy where your future is waiting.
